Privacy policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This policy explains what information Crease Live ("the app", "we") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Crease Live is made by Umair Alam, an independent developer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Contact: ualam5789@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Match information you enter: match title, team names, player names, overs and the ball-by-ball score. It is stored on our server under a random match code so that every device in the match stays in sync and the score survives a dropped connection.
- Camera and microphone: the app uses your camera (and microphone, if you turn it on) only while you are filming a match. Video travels from camera phones to the switcher device in the same match, and, when you go live, to the streaming service you chose. We do not keep recordings of your video.
- Technical data: basic connection information (such as IP address and device type) needed to connect devices and keep the service secure. It is kept in short-lived server logs.
- Payments: purchases are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see or store your card details. We only receive confirmation that a match was paid for.
Connecting YouTube
If you choose to connect a YouTube channel, the app uses YouTube API Services to create and manage live streams on your channel when you tap Go Live. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's use of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
- We access only what is needed to create, start and end live broadcasts on your channel and to show your channel name in the app.
- The access permission (token) is stored encrypted on our server and is used only when you start or end a stream.
- You can disconnect at any time in the app, or revoke access in your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you disconnect, we delete the stored token.
Connecting Facebook
If you connect Facebook, the app uses Meta's APIs only to create and manage live videos on the Page or profile you choose. The access token is stored encrypted and deleted when you disconnect. You can also remove the app in your Facebook settings under Apps and websites.
How we use information
Only to run the app: syncing the score, connecting cameras, showing graphics, streaming where you choose, processing purchases, and fixing problems. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Sharing
Your match is visible to the devices that join it with its code, and your live stream is public on the platform you choose. Otherwise we share data only with services that run the app for us (cloud hosting, Google Play, Apple, YouTube and Meta, when you use them), or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Match data is kept so you can return to past matches. You can ask us to delete it at any time. Connection tokens are deleted when you disconnect. Server logs are deleted after 30 days.
Deleting your data
To delete your matches or any connected account data, email ualam5789@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp with your match code(s). We will delete it within 30 days and confirm by reply.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Security
All connections use encryption (HTTPS). Access tokens are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
